Teaching for over 20 years at her studio, Hot Yoga Pasadena, Val still passionately loves this yoga today as much as when she discovered the amazing healing and life changing benefits in 1996. Val discovered the yoga as an alternative to a hip replacement to deal with pain and arthritis from a broken hip at 13. Val specializes in helping those with back and hip problems bring alignment and breath to allow more healing and less strain on injuries. Val has a very curious approach and loves to offer ideas for adaptations of the postures, but only if it works for the student.
